How to use facial oil: a simple daily routine

Your facial oil doesn't need a complicated routine. It needs a few drops and a moment to work it into your skin. Here's how to use Buff Chemistry Daily Facial Oil.

Start with clean skin

Apply a few drops to clean skin, then gently massage over your face and neck. Start with a small amount, spread it evenly and see how your skin feels before adding more.

Daily Facial Oil combines jojoba oil, olive-derived squalane, rosehip oil and vitamin E to leave skin feeling soft and smooth. There is no added fragrance or essential oil.

Morning, evening or both?

Our oil is suitable for morning and evening use. Choose the time that fits your routine. If you're applying it in the morning, follow with your usual broad-spectrum sunscreen. Facial oil is not a sunscreen.

The perfect pairing.
Facial Oil + Gua Sha.

A few drops of Daily Facial Oil give our stainless steel Gua Sha the glide it needs for a comfortable facial massage. The smooth, contoured tool feels naturally cool against the skin and follows the curves of your face.

Make a little time for the glide.

1. Start with a little oil. Begin with clean skin and a clean tool. Apply a few drops of Daily Facial Oil, enough for the tool to move smoothly without pulling.
2. Keep it light. Hold the Gua Sha almost flat against your skin. Slowly glide from the centre of the chin towards the ear, then from beside the nose across the cheek, using light, comfortable pressure. Follow the full directions on the Gua Sha product page.
3. Finish with a clean tool. Wash it with warm water and mild soap, rinse and dry with a soft cloth after use.

Use on comfortable, unbroken skin and stop if the massage feels painful or causes irritation. Follow the directions and cautions for both products.

What does fragrance-free mean here?

There's no prize for the longest routine. Use a small amount, follow the product directions and give yourself time to enjoy the application. Avoid the eyes, broken skin and mucous membranes, and stop if irritation occurs.
