Most Asked
Why are all your candles and beauty products fragrance-free?
Fragrance isn’t for everyone. Many people and pets find scented products overwhelming, and in some cases they can trigger headaches, allergies or discomfort.
We design our candles and beauty products to be fragrance-free by design, so they can sit comfortably in your space and on your skin without competing with food, flowers, perfume or your home.
If you enjoy fragrance, it can always be introduced separately. Our products keep the base environment calm, quiet and unobtrusive.
What are your candles made from?
Our candles are made from two core components: wax and wick / with no added fragrance or unnecessary fillers.
Wax: We use vegan-friendly plant wax, typically coconut and soy, chosen for a clean, even burn.
Wicks: We use either natural cotton or wood wicks, depending on the candle. Wood wicks create a soft crackle and warm glow, while cotton wicks offer a steady, traditional burn.
Vessels: Our candles are poured into high-quality glass vessels designed to be reused once the candle has finished.
Are your candles completely unscented?
Yes. Our candles contain no added fragrance and no essential oils.
You may notice a very subtle natural scent from the raw wax or wick, but nothing designed to fill a room or compete with your space.
Why are you making limited-edition unscented candles?
Just because you prefer fragrance-free candles doesn’t mean you should miss out on design.
Our limited editions allow us to explore new looks, details and formats while staying true to our core: clean, fragrance-free candles.
Each release is produced in small batches. Same quiet ingredients, different expression.
What can we expect from the beauty collection?
Our beauty range follows the same philosophy as our candles: stripped-back, ingredient-led formulations with no added fragrance or unnecessary fillers.
Expect simple formulas, considered ingredients and everyday products designed for skin that prefers less fuss.
Some releases will be limited editions, while others may become permanent staples.
Will you restock a limited-edition candle, beauty or wellness product if we love it?
Not always. Once a limited edition sells out, it may be gone for good.
If something is especially popular, we may revisit the idea in a future release, but every batch will remain considered and limited.
Candle Care
How do I get the best first burn?
Burn your candle for 2–4 hours on the first use, or until the wax reaches close to the edge of the vessel.
A short first burn can create a small melt pool and may cause tunnelling for the life of the candle.
With wood wicks, a full edge-to-edge melt pool may not happen immediately \ this is normal. The melt pool will usually widen on later burns.
How long should I burn my candle for?
No candle should burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
Burning longer than this can overheat the vessel and affect the candle’s performance.
Why is wick trimming important?
Trim your wick to around 3–5mm before each burn.
This keeps the flame controlled, reduces smoke and helps your candle burn evenly.
You can use a wick trimmer, scissors or gently pinch off the burnt end once the wick is fully cool.
My wood wick won’t stay lit \ what should I do?
Extinguish the candle, allow it to cool, trim the wick, then relight.
Wood wicks perform best with a clean, short edge. If the wick is too long or has too much burnt material on top, the flame may struggle.
My flame is very high \ is that normal?
A high flame usually means the wick is too long and needs trimming.
Extinguish the candle, allow it to cool, trim the wick to around 3–5mm, then relight.
Keeping the wick trimmed helps maintain a controlled flame, prevents smoking and ensures an even burn.
Is it normal for a wood wick to crackle?
Yes. A soft crackle is completely normal and part of the wood wick experience.
Natural wood wicks can vary slightly from candle to candle, so each burn may feel a little different.
Where should I place my candle?
Always burn your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
Keep away from draughts, flammable objects, pets and children.
When should I stop using my candle?
Stop using your candle when approximately 5mm of wax remains.
Do not relight beyond this point.
